Party Candies – The Sweeties

Brazilian’s chocolate truffle is a delicacy that contains in its formulation ingredients such as: condensed milk that is rich in sugar, chocolate that also has high sugar content, margarine or butter that has a lot of fat. Nowadays besides this traditional type there is a variety of flavors: white, churros, lemon, pistachio etc!

Excess sugar and bad fats cause weight gain, increased sugar and blood cholesterol, can cause diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity among other complications. So the ideal scenario is that its consumption is made with moderate and eventually !! We can tailor the recipe to a healthier version that can be used more often. Here is a suggestion of good chocolate truffle!

Good Chocolate Truffle


1 cup green banana biomass

4 tablespoons coconut milk

4 tablespoons of boiling water

2 tablespoons of cocoa powder

1 tablespoon of Brown sugar or Sweetener xylitol

Minced walnuts (optional)

Method of preparation

1 – Take the green banana biomass, mix all the ingredients and bring to the fire in a deep saucepan.

2 – Stir well until it comes out of the bottom and is ready to consume.
