The grape is a source of carbohydrates, important nutrient for supplying energy to the body and avoiding our fatigue during activities. It is also rich in vitamin C, B vitamins and minerals like iron, calcium and potassium. The darker grapes are even richer in antioxidants, which fight bad molecules that circulate in our body – the free radicals !!!
The bark of the pink grape has a substance that protects the heart, called resveratrol. For this reason, the natural grape juice is considered very healthy! However, one must be aware of the type of juice. Just don’t go for the box juices, they’re full of sugar, dyes and flavors! 50ml of whole grape juice is enough to protect our health! (Be careful not to overdo the dose because the juices have high caloric value!)
