This fruit that makes a great success among children has a lot of nutrients! Compared to other fruits, the strawberry has good amounts of vitamins and minerals.
In addition to vitamin C, it still possesses silicon, manganese, potassium, magnesium, B vitamins and vitamin K, nutrients that are essential for the body’s functions as they control the metabolism right down to the skin, heart and brain health!
The red color of the fruit is because of the substances we call anthocyanins, which send away free radicals and help our body to have more balance!
And to our delight, the strawberries have very little calories! Ten strawberries have on average only 30kcal!!
